Trust me, be glad you don't. It's a really bad experience, and for me, it's not over yet. The only person I would wish this on is my ex-wife.

Alot better than I did when I went in. I didn't know I had it yet, and after testing, only half of my heart was beating, inflammation of the stomach and intestines, low blood pressure, and spinning sensation. The doc said if I hadn't of come in, I would have eventually had a heart attack.

Heart attacks are bad.

It's cool that you got a doc that actually knew to rule it out. Hopefully they caught it early but if not its still manageable. Regardless I'm glad you're feeling better, tinycomrade.

There is a huge support system out there. Gal who runs this site has Lyme's and has dealt with it on and off for years. Yes years. I have not registered with the site but I know for a fact once you do, you will have access to a lot of info and support. Good luck. She is a local TV weather newscaster who is often off because of relapse's.

Thank you. They have me on the antibiotics for a few weeks, I'm hoping that does the trick.

I was told there were chances of it clearing up in a few weeks, or it could be months, or it could be years. I'm kinda hoping the few weeks....

I have a disaster of Genetic gene that produces large amounts of bad cholesterol and keeps the good Cholesterol down down down. 99% of male relatives in my family on my dads side have this problem. All with multiple heart attacks Bypasses Stints and all on some serious Meds to control.
I was flunking those Cholesterol tests like crazy with numbers that demanded I agree to stay a few days for bunch of tests. I let them do some fast tests to check for blockage of artery from Heart to my brain at my neck and I was jammed up with crude to the breaking point. Artery can just go total block so no oxygen hits brain n death is in minutes or stuff can break off and often does and causes strokes and usually the type one never recovers much body use from.
I said let me sign out of here and I ran over to UCLA Med library and read every medical paper - ever book on the subject - Perhaps 6 weeks of 8-10 hour days. Found PEOPLE that had my problem who chose a non surgical solution. Family is all sliced n diced at multiple arterial points so I knew wot I was in for and then it wood be some serious meds all my life.
I often tell people I am running for the Endorphins and the fact is I DO. Yet that was NOT the reason I started a daily aerobics program. Aerobics and I know Brooke Landau is a major work out gal who can be seen at events all over town every week so I am just guessing that working out or general exercise is good for her Lyme disease. You will find out real fast things you need to do to help you with what you have and I am sure Antibiotics is only a start on road to getting well. She picked it up in outskirts of Philly IF I remember correctly.
Anyway my work outs drive my HDL the good stuff off the charts. Its the protective stuff which I used to have almost none of. Now lab tests flag me for being out of bounds. AND there is so much more I do food wise healthy wise which includes all that dancing I do
For me the key was self control - taking my health into my own hands and becoming sorta an expert so as to save me from Slice n Dice and those Ugly meds people take to prevent heart from going into total arrest.
I suspect Brooke and the many she is in contact with and that includes several major Research med centers working on Lyme's ...She will save you lots of tyme in your own quest to get more better faster.

Man, Philly is a hive of filthy trannies and commies. One of the two is sure to bite.
