Topic: What have I missed of any importance?

Been working/living in South of France for a few weeks and back for a few days to do a quick gig as promised for US Gov on some FCC rule making re spectrum. Rare they listen to my advice in total but as long as they are willing to pay who r i to not take money for wallet. Plus I have a unique need to get my ego stroked by FCC.
R only allowed to do email from work/living location by contract which sucks but trade off is of course the unique pay. Satellite is a brand new design for GEO TV in Eu and later everywhere else IF them who make this new design have their way. In mean tyme EVERYONE Else has been waiting MONTHS n Months b4 they will allow the ones they bought to be put up.
Radical change in design for many a reason which is all I R allowed to say. Customers can if they chose to go with older design at much more cost with advantages and of course some disadvantages. Is new always better then old?
Is win 8 or 8.1 better then 7? OF COURSE IT AIN'T - In theory after I return from my next trip to France I will have something called windows Threshold which is theory is Win9 but people tell me its not going to be called Win9 when beta is complete.
I was forced to accept upgrade on Win Word which has one fucked up Ribbon nor will windows allow support of older Word version so if one day I R allowed to use open sourced Google docs or the Libra thing - Alas my choices of software are limited by clients approved list. I have been playing with Linux on an old Thinkpad but r not allowed to go on line with it. YET Unix is 101% ok which just makes NO Cents
Rant over. Eating wayyyyyyy 2 much fish in France. I may actually end up wishing I could resist trying one more version of Bouillabaisse

Yo a quick hello n goodby - Got myself in a world of work overload after Comic Con and then forced to move to South of France to concentrate on one wiggly/wobbly Direct TV Eu version Satellite - Until fix is proven its holding up multiple new launches so monkey has really been on my back. Came back Week ago Sunday for just one day's fun in Sun in San Diego and a meeting at Qualcomm. If all goes well I will be back to torment n be tormented on TC. Have some very stange email from a channer trying to contact bert. May turn out I lost a valid email addy for him OR OR He has lost his own addy?

God the ribbon sucks. I installed Office 2003 on my new Win 7 laptop. My friend says he spent a long month eradicating Win 8 from his newest laptop.
As for what you missed, there was a faggot, a bunch of fat nigger cocks in cum filled throats, and Sims 4 came out so ducky is back to having no social life for then next 6 months or so.

Other than Justin Igger, who has come and gone, you haven't missed anything. Oh, and we're all anxiously awaiting the earth shattering event that is set to take place on the 17th of this month.

Its so strange coming back. My home office has been upgraded with all new Unix workstations and monitors and the three PC's are all new and loaded with win 8.1 and frankly it sucks to be powerless yet what the clients want the clients GET. They at least left my old Thinkpad alone and its loaded with Linux but has no access to net re my contract with two clients that make such currently impossible.
Also strange to have access to Oracle and see all the news re data breach AGAIN LOLOLOLOLOL
This NEW MS 10 I think its 10 for Word - Getting a BLANK template took me about 10 minutes - was offered anything but blank - AND ASSHOLES AT MS seem to expect me to use their fucking cloud WHICH is NOT Client approved. 3 clients do not think MS Cloud is trustworthy LMAO

aH Best I be gone on 17Th
Currently the Sun has put out a world of hurt shit and its so odd how the news stations keep getting it all fugged UP. It b true a Blast from Sun could do world of damage in minutes. In practice its the damage that shows up weeks/Months LATER and one is never sure it was from the Sun or a Black hole. Some forms of damage take a few years to show up. IC's can end up with brand new bridges being built right over internal traces. Really lovely Purple crystals can build up from Ion flow and then bridge which is conductive can collapse and short out stuff. Plastics which are generally insulators can become conductive with cosmic events long term. Not only can happen but did to a mass of Satellites not very long ago.
I may not even be abel to comment on 17th but HOPE to be around to comment on Scotch events

Unserious fraud clients detected. Nobody likes win 8. Clearly you're dealing with trolls.
Cloud is also an unserious fraud service.

Yep its Thee. Here for a few days in prep for a meeting in Washington DC on the 23rd and then directly back to South of France UNLESS UNLESS Client by that tyme has proof that my solution is viable long term- THEY R Never going to get such proof nor can I let them keep me in France long term. Frankly they feel they can buy me and maybe they can? But its NEVER a good deal to end up with just one client. May as well go back to work full tyme for someone. AND the what IF client even a very rich client ends up selling out to someone else who decides THEY do not need me.
All of one eggs in one basket not so much a good business decision.
Have NOT looked back to see how u are doing.
@422,598 (Triptych !IupsXZPnnU)
I really have no need for MS Word - If I have to rite for business then 97% of the tyme I pay editors to clean up my dyslexic English. However I also end up restricted by an approved list of software that clients control with severe force. Every computer I have in this office can be viewed by clients re loaded software. Verizon even inserts a black list so I cannot download a fun anything that is not on their list. It still shocks me they allow me GIMP yet I have no tyme to play with such a program. Do I play with GIMP or Photoshop or spend the free tyme Surfing my Ocean a Blue? Choice is clearly not Software play.

> Nobody likes win 8
Back when Vista was jammed out by Microshit - Not a single client of mine allowed its use. Two and I am allowed to name them - Qualcomm and Verizon packed up planes with IT n Executives and invaded Microshit offices to tell them to cram Vista up their bung holes.
I frankly was shocked to discover the O/S switch full client wide and now discover THEY are mad as hell they agreed to switching over to Win 8.1 because so many tablets came pre loaded and that need to keep shit in Sync.
Am told but cannot share who is sending mass of people to Washington state mad as hell at Microshit again. Shades of Win Vista again. Something about an update from MS in last two weeks that crashed a huge number of computers and kept IT depts working OT to solve MS produced shit.
Nor can I say a word about Cloud services!!! I do notice Amazon.com is losing money again and that is after they spent a fortune courting zillions of people into buying cloud from them.
Anyone going for the 99cent phone from Amazon? LMAO - Shit phone so bad they have to give it away for free.

They probably allow GIMP because you don't work in graphics or related stuff so they couldn't give a shit less about Adobe's monopoly hold on the graphics market, but MS has that same hold on the business market, so of course they require you to use Office instead of compatible free substitutes.

I don't have a clue really. IT people tell me the restricted list has only 2do with what can be hacked. Not that I buy in2 such argument cause Microshit is the most hacked of any O/S. They used to say it was only true because very few people used other O/S - Word got hacked - Every program from MS got hacked. Apple has been messed with as well and now with a huge user base one might expect them to be on top list of hacker attacks - Yet Apple for the most part has been based on Unix which has been hacked but small by comparison to MS stuff.
So look at this from wayyy back in 2009
2/10/2009 @ 8:15PM
The Year's Most-Hacked Software
At the beginning of this decade, Microsoft represented a cybercriminal’s dream target: universally-used software, brimming with bugs ready to be exploited to hijack users’ PCs. But as the software giant has slowly cleaned up its security flaws, hackers are looking toward another vendor whose products are nearly as ubiquitous and whose bounty of vulnerabilities are just being discovered: Adobe .
According to Verisign’s bug tracking division iDefense, 45 bugs in Adobe’s Reader software were found by either cybersecurity researchers or malicious hackers this year and patched. In 2008, iDefense found 14 Reader bugs, double the number in 2007.
Meanwhile, the number of bugs found in commonly-used Microsoft programs like Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player and Microsoft Office remained flat or dropped. Just 30 bugs were exposed in Internet Explorer compared with the same number last year, and 41 bugs were found in all of Microsoft’s Office programs like PowerPoint, Word and Excel, down from 44 in 2008.
Now one might ask what Forbes thinks about Currently?
Funny how Apple told Adobe to stick their shit up own bunghole back in Jobs era - Not being a current Apple user cept for a few days each tyme they come out with a new phone or computer - But not current except Qualcomm IT dept supports either Apple products or MS shit cause employees are allowed to select brand they want to use for work -
If I were to switch to Apple Desktop which I just may do VERY Soon - I still get stuck with MS for two clients that are not Synced up with Apple. I really hate to mix n match but I R not about to live with this Win 8.1 shit for long one way or other
