16/100, maybe 20 if you count digital albums.

Nothing by Queen, Jackson, Presley.

Queen is the only one who could be remotely considered prog rock, and the argument is flimsy at best.

> Nothing by Queen, Jackson, Presley.

Queen 2 could be considered prog, but Elvis and Jackson, you're having a fucking laugh.

The real flaw of this poll is the heavy emphasis on metal (Opeth, Mastodon, Between The Buried And Me), at the expense of more 'classic' prog such as Wind and Wuthering and Duke (Genesis), Saucerful of Secrets (Pink Floyd), and Stormwatch (Jethro Tull).

Also, I don't understand how Opeth's 'Ghost Reveries' can be considered 'prog' but, in that case, an album like Metallica's 'Master of Puppets' is not.

Opeth is fucking garbage that is neithet goof prog nor good metal. And MOP is not prog, justice for all is

·Anonymous A (OP) — 12 years ago, 18 minutes later, 1 day after the original post[T] [B] #418,397

@previous (G)
Opeth isn't 'garbage', but they're nowhere near as good as their fans claim (that said, their new album is a masterpiece, it'll be released later this month but has already leaked).

And I agree that Justice is a prog album (especially tunes like Justice For All, To Live Is To Die, and One), but then why isn't Puppets? The title track, Sanitarium, Disposable Heroes all contain shifting time signatures, very high musical skill, compositional innovation, etc. To me, albums like Radiohead's OK Computer and Opeth's Ghost Reveries cannot make this list if Master of Puppets can't.

It is garbage. I said so, so I should agree with it.

But that's not strictly true Doc, there are many people in this thread who evidently care, including Fuckalms. That's twice now you've lashed out at him.
