Guardians of the Galaxy (directed by James Gunn) is the action attraction of the Summer. It's an adaptation of the popular Marvel series,
Guardians of the Galaxy.
Unfortunately there is a furry in this movie, which is why I can only rate it an 8.

At least it's an unpopular animal. If it was a fox or a wolf there'd be fapfictions longer than the actual movie script.

Can someone explain how there is a walking talking raccoon? Is it some sort of alien?

Are you really insulting the movie just because of the talking raccoon?
Why didn't you decrease the final score for an otherkin then?

Yes, genetically manipulated alien animal.

I just watched this movie today and it was surprisingly good though I get the feeling it will easily be forgotten in the future when more of the main Marvel films get released as well as Star Wars. Though one has to wonder if a Howard the Duck reboot is in the works though they probably just did that because he fits the quirky nature of the film. I also watched Howard the Duck for the first time tonight as this movie triggered my urge to see it. It wasn't that bad as many critics make it out to be, I rate Howard the Duck 5 out of 10 and Guardians of the Galaxy a stern 8 out of 10.
