Oh wow, lovely, I can finally play a digital copy of the game without having to install several copies of it.
I guess I have no use for my pirated ISO that comes with a launch menu that has it all especially when you still had to install everything separately.
It seems EA is getting desperate for people to use their client, but hey, our gain.

Ya that's nice, base game + all money milking packs & expansions in one big FREE install. Tho I'd say keep the iso around in case EA decided to be a dick and fuck with your Origin account.

I take it more as a way to promote (read: lure people into) their Sims 4, but like you said, our gain, so who cares.

I am interested in Sims 4 though, the create-a-sim mode looks fantastic.
I wonder if someone made a crack ISO of Ultimate Edition yet to have as a backup.
If worse comes to worse, I always have my original discs minus Mansion & Garden stuff.

The CAS looks better than all sims before, but gameplay wise I dont see anything extraordinary. Plus they removed toddler and pool with some plain lies, implement premium account before the game is even finished, and with the first-hand experience of what happens when they "go innovative" *coughsimcitycough*, I will patiently wait till it got a reliably positive receptions from other players.
I have Sims 2 & 3 to entertain me in the mean time.

What exactly is this premium account thing?
Oh and I must admit the new emotions feature definitely breaths new life into the game.
I hope basements, pools, and toddlers are at least added in an expansion pack and not as store content or else I might murder an EA executive.

Ionno, the emotional thing does give unique actions and affecting others, but it doesnt look too different from trait-specific actions and mootlets modifiers in Sims3 to me.
