LOL I attend That event on occasion but that year I was at another so I missed that most unique mess of an event.

Some of my best memories were that year b4 in 2011 where I was in Coronado Island with a view of all of the multiple Fireworks displays in the that area all at the same tyme.
Danced all day in Coronado then to dinner and then to a grass knoll for a view of the bay. Just lucky I missed the disaster on 2012.

Here in Cardiff by the Sea we can see Several at the same tyme but NOT close up n personal - Del Mar racetrack does offer a nice display from here

On that note my work nite is kaput and its Scotch 2nite and except for some AM net work n play its off for July 4th so ya have a happy For~est July

Glenlivet 18. Have not tasted the older Glenlivet's and wonder Y I haven't. Does give me memories of a Single Malt tasting waaaay back in the 90's when I was a newbie about Single Malts. bert will remember her - Voxeralla from Bianca the system admin and office manager for the web site. San Francisco based with her recent husband from England/Scotland/

I took them to dinner (Seafood platters huge Seafood platters) with a bold giant rich couple of bottles of a Shiraz (YES RED WINE as requested by Voxeralla) bought it up the street from a wine shop because the Red Wine selection at the Seafood restaurant was minimal.

After dinner Vox and her husband took me to the bar in town that was known for their vast number of Single Malt. He ordered 14- 16 different Single Malts as shots (One should really drink from a large glass to take in the aromas) never the less - Vox and husband proceeded to manage the tasting - Lowlands vs Highlands - Smoke of peet vs lots of smoke vs not so much smoke.

Loved each variation and my choice in the end was the Balvenie. HowSomEver that wood be ones personal choice because some like Smoke of Peet n some not so much + other variations of the making of Scotch offer huge variations of Flavours -

So now on my list will be the Glenlivet 18 to try. I am 100% sure I will enjoy it. Doubt Scotland produces a bad Single Malt although that may be possible (just in case some wanker Googles to prove me rong)

In from Surfing my Ocean a Blue and tide at min a few minutes ago and about to hit that hard packed sand for my daily run. Tide hits 1.5 Feet at 10 Am per charts so my Feet will hit those tide Feet b4

2.7 MB to now 768KB. Good you are working on WWW net bandwidth waste n Compression

So now let me go to the opposite extrema myself -dang just dang - I downloaded a clip art file - Not a big fan of such - Yet its file size for clip art SUCKS

So digging back2 look for nice yet not monster. Surprises me when I do these large files on occasion that no one gripes about their data plan limits on cell or Ipad and bills me for their TC use

Far 2many years. I visited her in Oregon about 2 months b4 death. Medically she was not well at all. Lots of medications on scripts and they never did determine if an overdose was intentional or accidental because, two of the meds also messed with short term memory. She had one fantastic set of boobs and wore stuff to show them off!

I think you may have checked the file before the download completed, because the only way I'd get it down to 768kb is by switching it to unserious fraud jpeg format. It's 1.95MB optimized.

Very very strange - I double checked file size then clicked on pic for full size and downloaded it again and you can see my file name

Download says 512KB.png so no jpeg compression
I did a similar copypasta happy 4th this early AM on MC - Griped about filesize tight limits on MC which cut my selection for posting - Few minutes ago r04r reminds me I can use imgur for large files up to 10 Megs - Which is NOT NOT NOT really true. Make them a few megs and system just hangs n hangs - Plus imgur sucks on the subject of Fireworks - some very cool gifs but I decided they are to large for here and on MC even under 3 megs the system just hangs

Should just be a simple referring html easy to do thing but for odd reason MC maybe Cloudfare hangs -

Refresh the folder now and check the size. Windows updates size of file roughly each time a disk sector is written, so if your internet is being sluggish, the file could take 10-30 seconds to fully download. 768 and 512 are both numbers which could result from quite a few common sector sizes used on FAT or NTFS formatted disk partitions.

Dang - Tried multiple variations of refreshing an got different files sizes but all around 500KB - So I said fuck Firefox because I felt I needed a test with another browser and sure enough - With Chrome it does come out as you said you reduced it to 1.98 Optimized!!!

Trying like crazy to solve a quick work problem so I can run out n get necessary pot luck party stuff to bring to an event 2nite and I bet traffic on road n stores will be horrid every minute I am delayed.

Short Rant - I have been working for over 10 days on a Eu GEO TV Satellite with a wiggle/wobble - Normally on board Gyros and reaction wheels and momentum wheels to stabilize the Birds. Both are heavy flywheels. And of course if you want to burn gas a bit of that is done as well. All controlled after the Satellite is in position its all handled by software to make each element work in concert to keep things stable - If it were a NASA Bird taking pictures a Wiggle/Wobble wood end up smears and bad resolution of images.

Keppler for instance has two kaput reaction wheels and has given up on prime mission and is trying to revamp and do a new mission that does not need the previous accuracy re position of the Satellite

So this TV GEO with Wiggle/Wobble means at fringe areas of reception which are still great for cash flow - No longer any good with massive butttthurt re customer service gripes-

So I was handed solving wot other could not solve - I thought I HAD but my solution according to owners is taking to long for the Wiggles to dampen out - I say hold on give it tyme they say sorry but they like my solution and will take it over n speed it up by tying two of the different gadgets that spin together with feedback (soft) and make it work more better - AND They embarrassed me cause it seemed to work for a few days more better.

I exited that program AND NOW all of a sudden its worse then it ever was - I have no clue why and of course they as well - But I am sure if they had left my solution in place without touching it and giving it more tyme it wood be solved by now - So they say - Hey please please help - Alas I look at it and can only see me fucking it up even more now

Sooooooo I am writing a position paper - My Tech editor who is out of town for 4th when she returns she can Edit and submit - And I no answer business phone lines and my mail to them is I will be out of town till 5th -

Closer inspection indicates the image is either a video screenshot or converted jpeg as it already contains compression artifacts, which hamper lossless compression.

I just bought a fifth of Ardbeg 10 year old and it is the worst single malt I've ever had. Tastes like mushrooms that have gone bad. Would not recommend it.

Is Rowey the only one? For those of you that are not coal miners and/or have not used Pears coal tar soap - this drop is like drinking that same soap. Not to be disparaging but the perfume can be smelt from metres away. Ever tasted the smell of something?

Unlike other Scotch, the Ardbeg 10 year contained a very narrow band of smokey flavors and a powerful smokey scent. Probably better as a blend than straight. I didn't like it much, prefer the peat or carbon taste. It was like drinking that liquid smoke at the Supermarket.

Ah yes Gaussian blur. Used it a bunch in imaging radar more for show and tell cause often its those pesky details that really contain valuable stuff Clearly getting rid of noise and doing it smoothly is most desirable.

I once made my living taking advantage of Gaussian as in designing Gaussian filters for RF circuits and even a few Audio circuits - back in days when Bode plots ruled by world.

He was one hell of a mathematician. Drove me nuts doing Lapse to cut through the Calculus. Now with Mathlab its something a child could do.
