Topic: Is there actually any truth to the stereotype that British people have terrible teeth?

It's a common international joke, but I'm wondering if there's any evidence that British people have very poor oral hygiene.

It's been confirmed by a very reliable source.

@OP
As a person suffering from autism, OP is a common international joke. As a doctor, I can confirm this.

Are there any statistics for incidence of crooked teeth based on ethnic background? For what it's worth, I have no British ancestry that I know of, and all of my teeth grew in straight except for three wisdom teeth. US hillbillies have a snaggletooth reputation also. Same stock?

@previous (F)
I'm pretty the redneck demographic has bad teeth due to indiscriminate inbreeding and a tendency to get drunk to the point of smashing chairs in each others' faces.
