One does not simply get off welfare.
You could start a dope business. But once you're running a dope business fueled by welfare, the only way out is prison or death, and there's a lot of competition.
Unless you're a woman on welfare, in which case the name of the game is having as many children with as many different men as possible, gaining more food stamps via said children and recieving ridiculous sums of child support from all the dope business men you had flings with for dope.

When I was a 17 my boss got me on the sick with a moody name to supplement my shity wages. When I quit I forgot about the dodgy bank account expecting him to take it so a year later I tried the card and found £3000 in it which ofc I blew on music, cocaine, partying and shit
