You know, I actually enjoy Dave. I like talking to him about Godspeed and other ensembles. I wish he would post about that more instead of sperging about the Doctor. I guess he probably doesn't care about that stuff much though.

How I see it is, he makes fun of Doc maybe once a week, and peeps in here go nuts at him. On the other hand Doc posts the same dull shit all day and every day, and the folk who rage at Dave never speak a word against Doc. So yeah, Dave's ok in my eyes, he brings some originality to the board. Like you now, OP, you're angry at Dave (despite admitting you quite like him) for posting the same shit, but why don't you ever post madthreads against Doc, who does it way more often and is way more boring?

I do whatever I have to make Dave post, I guess. I've made threads in the past about music but I suppose he was just taking some time off or something. That's okay. Doc tends to shit up whatever quality he does contribute but I always enjoy talking to Dave about Godspeed or anything else similar. He'll probably chime in saying we're samefags, that's okay. Dave's an okay guy when he isn't being madaboutdoc, that's about it.

You ask a good question. Why are you worried about this stuff? You say you like Dave and want to engage him in conversation, but then you go on to show your anger about the people who laugh at The Doctor. Why is The Doctor so important to you? Just forget about him as everyone else does and have the conversations you want to have.

I happen to know he loves the first 2 albums, and considers the track 'Could've Moved Mountains' one of the greatest tracks in music history. The latest album, however, he isn't keen on, other than the last 2 minutes of the first track.

Oh, you must have mixed up when you posted @400,846 (B) No I'm not worried about this stuff, I just need to find ways to get Dave to post, so to speak. He's a pretty cool guy, but aside from this Doctor shit, it's hard to get him talking serious when I want to really discuss music. I quite like him, but he's hard to get ahold of, if this makes sense. I don't know why he's so obsessed with this Doctor guy, we could be talking about Isis or any new music that's pretty amazing. I hear he likes John Petrucci, I'd like to know more about that.

Ask Dave if he likes Isis, because they're a personal favourite.
