Tuesday is usually Taco Tuesday and I so far have kept On from stealing. Friends in rotation select places to try and we hit 3 diff joints yesterday. 2 Really great and one we will not be revisiting. Great thing about a bad taco - One look and you can just say forget about it - Toss it and move on to the next place.

Taco Tuesdays are all over California. Usually 1/2 or close to it price.

On occasion but only on occasion Rubios on Tuesday's is great for a $1.50 fish taco.

Years ago I had a terrific GF (she also had a lot of that extra labia) Anyway she had a Fav place for Bar-B-Q in LA area but only for the Meat - her 2nd most Fav place had the more better sauce - So we wood treak to both places to get exactly the very best combo of meat and later sauce. Then you have to take home to heat it all up

Tacos have a similar issue - Finding a place for say Carnitas tacos with that charred crispy meat but that place does not have the very best of Chile (Salsa) which is not wot people locally call Salsa -

I have been on a quest to learn how to make my own and am getting real close - For such a few simple ingredients say Tomato's and Chiles there is a wide variation of how to use them. Roasting Tomatoes and roasting chiles - Some go with dried and others go with roasted chiles as in fresh - very different out come + Some use to much tomato

So we continue on the quest of finding that place that makes us all happy - funny how just going across the border and its far more easy to get what we want but logistics make that trip very difficult re getting back home for such a short distance it can add hours at the border wait - Even crossing on foot.
