Notice: Home alone tonight?
Topic: Creeper at Wendy's

I work in a Wendy's which, unfortunately, has been suffering a downturn in business the past few years. To make ends meet, the owners have reduced the number of employees working per shift from two people down to one person. No one really likes the idea, but we make due if we want to stay open.
A few Aprils back, I was working the closing shift, which was going along without a hitch until roughly one hour before I'd lock up and get ready to leave. An overweight middle aged gentleman (roughly 55) came in, looking quite scruffy in sweatpants and a wifebeater. I went to the closest portion of the L-shaped counter to greet him, and ask if I could help him with anything. I'd barely gotten the last word out before he's snapping, "I don't know what I goddamn want yet...I'll punch you in the face.." I've worked in customer service for a while, but this was the first time I've been told that. Whatever, I stand there stunned.
After looking around the store for a few minutes, Mr. Gruff came to the counter and I tried again. He was still a little rough, but much less than the first attempt. After a few minutes of chit-chat, he actually became pleasant. I figured the part about punching me in the face had been a joke. That is until out of the blue, he tells me he'd like to rape me. WHOA, WHOA, WHAT?
At this point in time, we're at the end of the bakery counter where there is an opening to the store floor, and he took advantage of it to come around the case, getting real close to me to say, "We'll have to go in the back...I can't get it up in front of cameras.." It wouldn't be a stretch to say I was FREAKING THE FUCK OUT. I don't like people invading my personal bubble when I'm not getting threatened with rape, so this was understandably much worse. I was the only person in the building at the time, so it's not like I could call out for help, either. The man went back to the proper side of the case, and I should have booked it to the back to call the cops then, but fear held me rooted in place, plus I had the fear that if I went into the back room to the phone, he just might have followed me. Hindsight tells me I am incredibly dumb for this, but fear is damn powerful.
The fat guy continues on like nothing happened, telling me about being born in Tennessee and how there were Nazis there, and a bunch of other random things that I'm pretty sure I blanked out on because I was still freaking out. I must have faked it pretty well though because he stuck around for another twenty minutes buying things. During that time, he eventually tells me, "Sorry for my black humor...but my father is dying of prostate cancer and it's how I cope.." Let's stop for a spell here. I adore black humor, utilize it all the time with family and friends. Telling a woman who is jut trying to do her job that you're going to assault and rape her is not black humor.
When I finally got this creep to the register to check out, I was mentally cheering to myself that yay! He was leaving! Of course, my luck's never been very good. When I was about ready to ring this guy up, in walked a regular customer, but not the kind that brings a smile to your face. Nope, it was another older guy who always put off a creepy vibe of his own. Anyway, the regular waited at the counter while I ran up original creeper, who grabbed my hand as I was handing him his cash and pulled me the few inches over the check out counter to kiss my cheek. As if that wasn't bad enough on it's own, the regular customer chimed in. "Hey, Anonymous A, looks like you have two old guys hitting on you now."
Thankfully, the other guy finally left. I called my boss immediately, and he arrived back at the store (he'd been doing a supply run) within a few minutes. Unfortunately, we could never pursue the old guy because he was dressed in a way that made him impossible to identify on video, and he'd paid in cash.

i read some of it
what i gathered is that you cant function in the real world so you should see if you can collect social security
spoilers: the old man wasn't gonna do shit especially in public, you should have leaned in and threatened him, or done the thing like, i dont know? call the cops? explains why you work at wendys though, you're obviously not smart enough to function.
now what is probably going to happen is that man is actually going to commit sexual assault and get away with it because you were too stupid to call the police.
