Good idea, OP. We should replace all the icons so that they reflect the 21st century. Let's replace the 'new' icon with a computer icon since no one uses paper anymore. Let's replace the 'open' icon with a computer icon since no one uses paper folders anymore. And let's replace the 'save' icon with a computer icon since floppy disks are best left forgotten.
