Oh man its beyond funny. You can find him whining to other expats on gokunming.com

Has two monikers and expats there are calling him a troll and worse. I could rite a book on his current sad state of living.

He says he only gets water in his digs 5 days a week. The one light bulb and a landlord that gives not a fuck to fix anything.

Expats in his hood say they will not go out to eat re horrid hygiene and they end up with ends messed up and days of vomit n ends messed up after eating.

Some current quotes from him

All of Kunming basically smells like fermented urine.
My school screwed me over
I am broke. I am in a shitty, tiny room with no windows. I am depressed and miserable.
I love my apartment, despite the single lightbulb hanging from a hole in the ceiling

So those last two show his Bi-Polar condition is still wot it is

His mates on gokunming say

Kunming. Diarrhea is pretty much rampant here due to a combination of unsanitary conditions.

Finally, truth be told, if you stay in Kunming long enough, you no longer consider diarrhea to be an illness, just another part of eating out.

Latest is the discovery that its common to find Cooking oil used in restaurants, which was recovered from the city sewage system.

Most recent discovery is that water tested in toilets is cleaner then the water from the taps - Considering people do maybe wash hands with soap but then rinse off in clear running water which is just cleaned up sewage - Sad place to b

My latest line re Matt is

Matthew R Miller: Expert on feces as condiment, in Chinese food.

In a way he is stuck where he is. He had the IRS on his ass and owes them almost $20,000

He put his resume on web trying to get out of China to Thailand but no one wanted him - not a single job offer. He says he can learn to live n survive like the local Chinese do

Rice Tofu and some veggies - He actually is arguing for that in the threads

http://www.gokunming.com/en/forums/thread/3572/average_monthly_salary_in_kunming

He shows up in this thread as mmkunmingteacher
http://www.gokunming.com/en/forums/thread/3572/average_monthly_salary_in_kunming?page=7

5000 Yuan is about $800/month which is survivable but if you were to look at the replies top to bottom - most argue its not possible unless you are willing to live in digs like this

Might look like you get a lake view but its really just sewage run off
