Damn got to hit beach with friends for someones b-day party
Led vs Plasma - Hit Best buy on Monday mornings and get them to set each up for view
Try n simulate where in room people view the screen - Each type is so damn different with lots of Advantages but only under certain circumstances -
I am NOT a fan of Plasma but have one in a room where Plasma is more better - all other rooms have LED's but not all are 51 inches

@396,468 (Syntax )
I will do that, thanks. I have a smaller plasma in the bedroom, it's ok. I guess I am just wondering which stands the test of time better since I am getting a CL model and it will be older.
Cold, dreary and rainy here, have a great time.
Edit: there would be some side viewing, I would guess no more than 20 degrees. The room can be made very dark although one side is lit with a lot of windows.

Yea typing like crazzzzy with people screaming at top of lungs to get me to beach so they could pour bubbly
Me I wood not buy a Plasma used EVER - Maybe if I knew the person. Plasma burn up power like crazy and do go dull over tyme. In theory LED'd can last n last n last
Brand new Plasmas are not as bright as Led displays but you can get more better blacks (with exceptions)
Led's on side view aka off angle suck really really suck - But if its just the two of you on a couch in front of TV then go for LED.
Used and shipped from somebody on E-Bay? I cannot fathom doing that with a Plasma.

Honestly CRTs the way to go for not dealing with all sorts of technical mumbo jumbo. Also perfect color from any direction.

Hey actually I agree with you on that. I once actually twice worked n reported to people that were executives at Conrac corp displays.
Just looked and shocked to see they still b in business
http://www.conrac.us/main.htm
Back long ago Conrac was the Gold standard for monitor displays for TV broadcast and I ended up with several including boxed back up Crt's
Have a 21 inch still running. Have one Crt still in storage. Probably worth someThing as Antique.
On my expanded Resume I have listed an even far more better CRT Display developed for DOD and they still have masses of them running cause of all the technical advantages Crt's still have - but have to say those CRT's as manufactured were so so so hand made back when they made 20 and got one purrrrfect and tossed out the others.
Shocking to see how they floated the phosphor by hand on glass tube.

Is this a joke or some kind of meme, or are you honestly pretending that is true?
