Total gross of all Star War movies = $4.4 Billion not including Merchandise.
6 Movies and Clone wars a minor effort.
Disney paid Lucas $ 4 Billion 1/2 in cash 1/2 in Disney stock.
From the point of sale to current stock price George has made 2 Billion more cause stock doubled from point of sale

Disney stock has in past been ultra good 2me - I have not increased my investment in Disney after they bought out Lucas. Sitting back n waiting 2C

Wayyyyyy back in a galaxy long ago and I think it was my wife back then who suggested a UCLA evening course titled Young Film makers. This was in late 60's
Young directors often with members of the cast wood present a film often unfinished (Alice doesnt live here anymore was shown in B&W print without opening credits)
George attended UCLA but moved on to USC - He completed a 15 or so minute student film THX 1138 and presented it - then took questions from audience.
I do not believe I met him at that tyme. I did ask if he considered turning it in2 a full film. Don't remember what he said.
The class week after week was AMAZING - Ever young director later became a major force in the film biz like Coppola - Depalma
Any way - a bit later I am in a Bart tunnel San Francisco to test a wireless Thing under development by urs truly. I ran in2 George who was making his THX 1138 A and using the Tunnel for cheep special effects - A brief hello and some chat about that class - THEN THEN THEN
The then has to do with one of his Ex-GF's - Which need not be discussed at this momento - Oh and I was once upon a tyme a VP for Universal/MCA but NOT in the film biz with one very minor exception - and never on a Star Wars set - but hey someTime ask me about a Maidenform bra commercial being filmed on a closed set.
