Let's have some fun here.
If a transgender woman banked sperm prior to their transitioning (i.e. hormones, surgeries, etc.) and lived long enough for the day that science could provide her a fully functional female reproductive system.
What would happen should she impregnate herself with her own sperm?

Since women are born with a finite set of eggs, and transitioning women would not naturally have that set, then the eggs would need to be donated and implanted. While it might be possible for science to one day create a functioning uterus, a biological male cannot create the eggs needed.
The child would be fine barring any non-incestual type problems.

And the reason for this would be because the donated eggs would be from a biological woman who has XX chromosomes?
This means like it might be somewhat liberating for such people since now they have the option of mating with whomever they want.

Unless the transwoman gets eggs donated from a relative. Obviously it would have to be outside the family.

Are there really side effects to incest?
I keep hearing how this was a myth.

Not so much for the first generation, but if you fuck your sister and have a boy and a girl and your son fucks your daughter, your grandkid will probably have some issues.
-and I don't just mean emotional distress from realizing they're inbred.

So the Lannister children can prevent any future incest damage by mating with somebody else?

Read up on Carlos II of the Habsburgs. He was so inbred that he basically ended a 300 year rule.
