"I RE: 9 myle satellite while surfing in sunny cardiff by the c sea see"
to my friend from that place where syntax lives, and he laughed as I explained an obscure relationship with an old man on the internet who has amazing dance and programming skills.

Did you tell him how syntax trained the Mujahideen and was instrumental in driving the soviets out of Afghanistan?

O Dead I never once claimed Programming skills OTHER then once being one hell of a Program Manager n it was a program that did NOT use software.
If reading Learn PERL in 21 days counts? Cept it took me a lot more then 21 days a LOT MORE. Yea I on occasion give C++ a go but no one should pay me when I bill for it.
I R a RF Hardware Engineer. Even a bit of Rocket Scientist. So you have a buddy that lives near by me? This is a very small village. Less then 12,000 live here.
San Diego city has 1,326,000 people n county 3,211,000 so as the numbers show, its tiny teeny small.

Yo I can claim more then a bit of Help kicking Ruskies out of Afghanistan and still have some terrific Mujahideen friends. Back then Mujahideen loved the help USA gave them. Now not so much.

Looking back now, don't you think we would've been better off if the soviets were successful in Afghanistan?

Maybe but the British had the cure to that headache in the form of a nuclear submarine.
