er no but as a teen I was the only one in my city with a phone in my car (other then the very rare super costly MaBell car phones) n no I did not invent such nor even make any improvements on such.

Ham Radio was such a cool hobby. Allowed me to Text Years prior to invention of Internet. (Did design my own Modems) well design? More trial n error.

'ham radio'....sure it is very cool...up at a place where I used to work...a largish bunch of folks gather to see what each other think about radio transmitting.....on New Years Day.....they are a dedicated group..

One of my best memories - tubes that is - Early marriage days n was renting a house with a nice work shop. Back a bit under that house was dirt n a bit of plastic sticking out of dirt.

So curios I pulled it out and dug a bag up. Buried an old radio bagged. So I plugged it in and on it came. Shock - Station it was on was playing a old radio show.

I do miss tubes. Sum as transmitting tubes Glowed cherry Orange. (I never owned one of those) My personal fav tube which I did own and cost me lots for a pair of these.
