Up late in order to get the real skinny on Satellite photos of possible junk in Indian Ocean. Bet it will be morning b4 any news person is told that the photos R OLD OLD from 4 days ago.
Anyway I got a look but I R no expert on looking at Optical Satellite imagery - Radar Imagery well very much expertise - Jest amazes me why the old photos are not being show on TV or net currently

Of course I find it very entertaining to see news anchors saying Satellites are being moved in2 position to get more better pics. Wayyyyyyyy to many movies & tv stories showing such.
One does NOT NOT NOT move a LEO Satellites such as DigiGlobes - One waits until the next pass over which is more more days. DOD might consider moving a GEO intelligence Satellite butttttttt Optical pics from such distance ain't so great and the re-location is many a day by itself.
And as to junk in that area of Ocean? I learned from CNN last night that part of Ocean a Blue is infamous as Junk Yard - One of the most famous junk yards on Planet Earth.
