The PhD should be the lowest attainable accreditable degree to end this 'diploma mill' trend.

I once wrote a 9 page manifesto to my GP describing why psychiatry, psychopharmaceuticals, and the modern medical system was evil, with arguments so well thought out he could not debate a single one. This was some time back in 2011 when he was trying to call me for some bullshit review regards bipolar disorder. He was impressed enough though, that he changed my medical record saying it was 'in remission', because it was clear I was sane enough to think logically.
I wouldn't have quite the effort now of course, but when pressured, and given enough time, I can make my reasons for believing things quite concrete and airtightly solid.

I wonder if there was any truth to that. Some of hir other claims have been revealed to be false, such as being a meth addict for over a decade, being 50yo, etc. She doesn't even live alone so the odds of her actually strangling her dog when she couldn't make ends meet is unlikely too.
Still, it takes an odd fish to make up that sort of stuff. Although she did say she was trying to become a lolcow at one point and had since given up on such lofty goals.
