I constantly went back and forth to the main bathroom of the house befacing a massive wall-sized mirror, I couldn't see myself, or identify myself in its reflection, and kept imagining feminine features of me which weren't there. I don't really know what the fuck happened, except I was eventually so shaken up and insomniatic from the torment of my delusional state, as well as in fear of my life from experiencing hypochondriacal symptoms, that both I and my mother had gone to A and E.
I was issued a course of risperidone which I never completed, because it actually made the situation worse! My visions became even more belligerent and aggressive. Objects were starting to move. The voices in my head were encouraging me to go kill myself because, as they had put it, 'you were better to have been born a pretty little girl.'
I think I had blurted at one point to my mother that I had "always wanted to be a girl." She thankfully is still under the assumption to this day that it was due to the psychotropic meds and not a lingering notion that had been hankering in me 3 years prior to that experience.
As the medication wore off, I experienced crippling fatigue-related withdrawls which had forced me to leave school permanently, and the fatigue would persist for 3 years; the withdrawals were so severe that it had caused both my adrenals and thyroid to be permanently fucked.
I would experience visions and voices on and off without telling anybody fearing re-medication.
No, it probably wouldn't work unless I had deeply familiarized myself with the person I had entrusted my acquaintance, but the only such person to date has been David, and he lives far too far away for a relationship ever to be feasible.
