Yes, a lot of people are capable of maintaining platonic relationships. It's not that crazy.

Yeah. And two people who are sleeping together can remain friends, too. It isn't hard.

Ya betcha. Have many GF (PURE FRIENDS) I have NOT sleepte with ( actually have shared a bed but for sleep only ) and we remain great friends.

Could HAVE in many cases buttttt wood NOT be friends any more if we had.

Nah.

My current girlfriend started as an affair. She was married. As soon as I found out she was rich, I decided to take her for myself. That wasn't hard, as he was apathetic man. He left me standing on a doorstep in the rain once. I'm sorry, but if you diss me like that you can't complain when I destroy your life. So, I took his life and his home, his cats etc. Anyway, not the point. The point is, he stayed in contact with her, because he wanted to remain friends. Obviously, I saw through that, and realised he wanted to win her back. I let her meet him a couple of times to discuss things, then I told her not to contact him anymore.

Anyway, to answer the question, no. Someone will always want more.

For example - During a lunch with my best friend at the tyme who was a fyne looking chick with all the rite stuff...She said hey how come you never made a move - I said well sure it wood be just great but lets face it, usually long term it fails to work out and then no longer friends. Me not willing to take that chance. She understood.

However in that one case I LOST - The guy she married could NOT accept the fact that we slept 2getther many tymes and never messed around - He could not get over it. IF WE had he wood have no problem with us remaining friends. So in this one case She and I are no longer friends who see each other.

wat
are you unable to downgrade a sexual/romantic relationship into platonic
it's so much nicer that way

·Syntax 12.4 years ago, 4 minutes later, 12 hours after the original post[T] [B] #385,175

I bet if you look up the Stats re converting sexual/romantic relationship into platonic you will find its unusually.

In fact I do have a few but very few long term GF's where we did the deed and later remained good friends ( Friendly yes but nothing like it was in past )

I only have two Ex GF's where we are NOT friendly at all and of recent date that may be down to just one and she is dead so she no longer counts ( a shame really )
