Self-induced situation:
Great if the person was on a completely normal path of mental development. Otherwise, parental gaslighting and the abuse of the psychological vulnerabilities of an individual preventing them from establishing their own life until it was far too fucking late are factors seldomly considered.
Laziness:
If being properly motivated was sufficient to getting a job, the black employment rate would be a lot higher. We don't live in this kind of world anymore.
Skilless:
Too much value is put on formally-acquired accreditions. Some of us are poor at standard tests for an otherwise okay intelligence level (the former demand too much short-term memory and direct memorization skills without necessarily gauging one's ability to think deeply; I would only do well on tests which required no previous mastery of content/little study, otherwise I'd blow severely, and well, I dropped out of 5th year- when Scots do Highers, an AS-level equivalent - for this reason, I don't read well in areas I'm uninterested in), some of us aren't time-prefential enough to invest it in the development of vocational skills and prefer a fairly quick, hands on approach, some of us just don't 'learn' very well at all, which punishes those who are more aptitudinally-oriented than skill-oriented.
I tried getting into politics for this reason. It was very hands-on, only required reading in key influential texts of the philosophy you want to get into, usually written in a spergish enough style to resonate with my thinking, and didn't require you to do much of anything except attitudinalize that you know how to reform the world from the ground up. That's why I joined Marxist circlejerks in Edinburgh in the first place. We'd meet in coffee shops and politsperg for hours. All these people ever did was dress up as politburo members and speak highly of themselves and their superior abilities in vague qualities like leadership and guidance; most of us were NEETs.
I'm a very superficial person, naturally I'll be averse to effort unless I can concretely conceptualize the results (such as with polit-sperg trolling). Anything that requires previous mastery will be met with extreme efforts in evasion from me. Speaking in the abstract far outwith my depth in order to baffle others was a skill I developed pretty quickly amongst these Marxist churls.

I agree that workless individuals are unworthy of life, probably genetically defective, and don't deserve to breed into the next generation, which is why I tried to kill myself, but I have my own doubts to the degree that my situation was genotypical, so much as the environmental consequence of living an overly-formalized age. I think of Kimilsung-era Choson, or the Soviet Union, and wonder if perhaps I'd thrive as a worthless bureaucrat charged with managing a make-shift department where nothing of any significance is actually done, except to meet with the main figures of the regime to waffle about nothing. This was the age of patriarchal excellence, the hypermale style of getting things done. I long for such days.

If things were any different, I would probably be working a minimum wage job (7.25 /hr) and doing nothing but working another one at the same time. The whole system of working for someone without any marketable skills is not that varied. I have a worthless degree in material management and distribution, which amounts to warehousing and logistics in the area of shipping. Shipping for wholesale business and for the smaller outfits, both freight and small scale shipments. It's worthless though, since most of the field is dominated by people less skilled than I.

Perhaps you should try understanding what happened to me at Occupy first. My 'best friend' sold me out and decided to sue me frivolously for non-existent damages because I had insulted his ego. The case left me too shaken up for months to even function, beyond speaking to David, my only reassurably trustworthy acquaintance at that point. Then there was the Facebook incident just months later, where a negroid woman decided to use her infinite powers of privilege to legally destroy me for being white, when I was trying to re-identify as a White supremacist.

You could even just try googling for volunteering opportunities in your area, and there's plenty of free / cheap online courses in basic works skills, low level computer admin stuff for example.
