The delusions were solid. I never doubted them because all evidence, in my confused mind, supported it. I even punched a nurse in the face.

It affected me for a long time. The delusions became regular memories, but they feel no different when I examine them. There is no flag that helps you differentiate memory from delusion. My relationship has been harmed because for months I thought she had been replaced. I couldn't talk to her, or trust her at all. Time heals fortunately, but some days I still get hung up on it.
