Four shots of that 190 everclear we can say is roughly equal to 8 shots of a hard liquor which would be comparable to about 8 glasses of wine... drank at once. And knowing that individual has multiple cocktails a day, it's safe to say they might have a slight drinking problem. Considering how long they've been abusing their body with this routine, going without drink is probably very unpleasant and may even be dangerous for them (DTs, risk of seizures, etc).

lol, perhaps I was a bit conservative there. I don't think he truly acknowledges the fact that he's an alcoholic or has a problem even. Then again, he's also a fan of crack cocaine and smack... so maybe alcohol is the lesser evil. Idk. He's still a pathetic mess at this point with 0 self control.

This this grate true crime story that Warren Ellis incorporated into the first issue of Fell where this lady kills her husband with a sherry enema... apparently "butt chugging" can kill.
FEBRUARY 3---Meet Tammy Warner. The 42-year-old Texas woman is facing a homicide rap for allegedly giving her husband a lethal wine enema. Why a wine enema? Well, according to cops, Michael Warner, 58, liked to drink, but was unable to guzzle sherry due to a throat ailment. So the couple opted last May for a secondary delivery method for two large bottles of the booze. The sherry infusion drove Warner's blood alcohol level to a whopping 0.47 and triggered his demise, according to the below indictment, which charges that Warner knew that her husband "should not ingest or consume alcohol."

Whether you're actually alcohol dependent is kind of immaterial.
