Shame you also have the intelligence of nails. Then you wouldn't have to work in a factory.

Eighteen hours being nailed by men bigger than you does not make you as tough as nails.

Don't be so childish, Bert. You could have had one as well if you hadn't been such a resource-wasting alcoholic.

Right but Bert has an intellectually challenging job (where he can show off that
amazing 108 IQ) that requires him to be constantly vigilant for 18hrs a day (or else he might miss a spot sweeping).
All you did was bake a pie for some bimbo who is lactose intolerant, sensitive to gluten, vegan, and has a nut allergy.
Pfft, I think we know which the greater feat was.
And for the record, because Idk if you knew this, but Bert can also cook "tattoeor.....toots" while inebriated when the situation calls for it.

I fixed the electric window on my car yesterday....I fixed my mower last summer...when the so called mechanic could not...I fixed my dinner awhile ago.....it's just too bad that I can not fix your shitty perogative to badmouth me at ever opporunity for no other reason than simply to fit in with the young twerps here who also badmouth me......I suppose when a fuck like you has got no game and cannot think of much to post about you have to go with the easy moves......easy yes...but nonetheless pathetic and undignified..
I thought you were an asshole in the beginning...but then I decided to give you further consideration.....and what did you do.....you continued to do what you had been doing.....being an ass..
I wanted to tolerate you....but I find you too repulsive....you do not fit in here at all....you and I are both older than most but I think more like them than you are capable of....anyone can see that.....yet you flatter them and they eat it up.....kind of hilarious when looked at objectively..
fuck you loser..

Depends on the space. Minimalist is good but I want it to have flair. So you need at least a few eye catchers to work around. You can have a well styled place without it being cluttered. Although the smaller the space, the more complicated that is. I like grays, reds, black, and faux persian rugs/tapestries. I usually have a bulletin board where I can glue/tack clippings, posters, notes, and the like, but I try not to let it bleed into the rest of the space. At our last place I did have too many paintings up though. For some of the unused space I put out some spent casings/shells, gasmasks, and other stuff that I thought might give it a dystopian feel. I want to do some portable pegboard stands I can use to hang guns on but I'm iffy about leaving them out of a safe. I thought about purchasing some replicas for this purpose but that seems extravagant even by my standards.

To be fair, I have help. I habitually lose my wallet/keys/
recreational chemicals but thankfully someone is there to help keep me somewhat organized. I'm trying to cut down on material goods that I don't need though to help with that end. I figure it'll free up space and make moving easier.
Getting rid of most of my books will be the difficult part of that, but tbh, there's only a shelf's worth I
really care about, and the rest are just oddities and the like. I've already donated a few boxes worth to a local non-profit. There's still a lot in storage and more at a friends house. Anyway I figure one bookshelf should be more than adequate, and anything more is overboard. Some of the rarer occult books I'll probably sell off on eBay and use part of that to fund the purchase of a new ereader since my last kindle kicked it.
Getting rid of clothes I don't wear or old gadgets is easy. Getting rid of gifts... is a little bit more difficult. Because people tend to get offended. Like I have this painting I hate that is like 6' x 2' of a leopard, or cheetah, idk, in space on a tree... and short of manufacturing a house fire I haven't come up with a way to dispose of it. For now I just stow it in a closet and only put it out when X is coming over.

I've had to purge my stuff about 3 or 4 times over the past few years, so I don't actually own that much. A shelf of books, some clothing, a violin/case/stand/music, bedding, a chair, and a bunch of paper encompasses nearly all of it. So weird to think about.
Oh, but books are so lovely, don't get rid of them!

I might mail a few of them out to interested parties. Idk. Giving them away locally is a lot cheaper than mailing them out but I guess I can make a few exceptions and just send them media mail.

I know what that's like.
It's a tough call about the books. I know I'll keep some of the rarer stuff but it's hard to justify some things. I've tried to get into the habit of passing on a book after I've read it for new stuff at least, which has actually helped a little.

Okay, anything in particular you're interested in? Or just surprise you? I'm going to where I store some of the books tomorrow night, hopefully I'll get the rest out of the actual storage unit soon. Even though I think they're relatively safe thanks to how they were packed, it's not climate controlled, and this is FL afterall.

I haven't got down to the point where I'm ready to start an inventory (with the exception of firearms, but that's for legal reasons), but I probably should. I think a sort of annual/semi-annually clearing of stuff would be great. It's surprising how much junk I've gotten rid of already I didn't even notice since it was hidden away. It also seems like a waste to keep paying storage costs on stuff I don't really want anyway. It's a lot easier to throw out my partners stuff then it is my own though, still she's a bit more sentimental than I am, and candles, candles everywhere. She has boxes of candles still. Candles, kitsch nicknacks, and punk memorabilia.

Idk, I feel like they take up too much space when I could just put them on a tablet or ereader. Old fashioned books don't need to charge or whatever but considering I could fit my whole library on an ereader, it doesn't make a lot of sense to keep them all. I'm going to keep a bookshelf worth and make myself downsize the rest I think. Plus we've moved around a bit and it gets old moving boxes of books around. Besides it's not like I'm going to reread many of them. Some of the rarer titles or occult works are nice to have on hand for reference assuming they're not available electronically but I'll make space for those that I don't sell or donate. I'm still keeping a lot of books, and if there's some overfill I'll sneak a few into my wife's bookshelf if it's something I really don't want to give up, but I don't think I'll have too much of an issue with that.

Meh. I'm only going to sell some of the rarer occult stuff I'm not keeping. A few of those titles are expensive due to scarcity and/or being out of print. If a title is not worth more than $50 bucks I probably won't even bother. There's a new age church and a private "pagan society" with libraries I'll donate most of the other occult stuff I don't end up keeping, just because I'm worried donating it to some non-profits might see it end up in the trash with this being the bible belt and all.
