when I was in the boy scouts back in the day I got my first aid merit badge too...but whatever.......YOU posted a vague inquiry in the middle of the night asking about 'how do you know if a cut is deep enough to need stitches'.....and then disappeared......so what was anyone to think? I will tell you what I thought.....that you were sitting there with a very bad cut....that 'might' have needed stitches and that it was possible....since you were asking that question....that the cut might very well have needed to be stitched but you would not get it stitched since you were wondering IF you should.......and THAT led me to wonder if such indecision might have potential negative repercussions on your well being..
THAT.....is why I got all bothered about the whole thing........in other words I was not being some nosy busybodied snoop about the deal.....rather I was concerned....because I gave a damn..
