Funny thing is, he latched himself onto me as some kind of cause célèbre or trendy button issue. I didn't ask him to defend me in any way, but he did because it would help his "cause" in some way. I didn't care about the Doctor at all. I thought he was a one note wonder who forgot how stale his shtick was too late. I think that is why he's not here now. He's moved on. If that's true, good for him.
