I was reading about a man who identifies as a woman, but still has a penis and was complaining when they got tossed in a man's jail cell. My question is what if it were the reversal: a woman who identifies as a man but was pre-op (meaning they still had a vagina). Would they want to be tossed with the guys or women? It can't be the woman's cell in both cases because that's unfair.

From my understanding, pre-ops go to the jail corresponding with their birth sex while post-ops go to the jail for the gender they identify with that is on their legal paperwork.
It just comes down to rather or not they have a penis.
