Anyone who understands the Bible - none of you people apparently do - will know why this is true. The ancient Israelites were not supposed to inter-breed with non-Israelites, but they repeatedly transgressed. This is why GOD imposed such harsh laws upon them (which many of you idiots and a whole bunch of fundamentalists still seem to think apply to Christians) yet they still didn't get it. By the time of Jesus, the Jews had become something quite different. After the Romans defeated them a few decades later, the surviving "Jews" fled all over the place, including north of the Caucasus, where a Jewish kingdom emerged (including where Sochi is now situated). Many of the people in the region converted to Judaism, hence you get Jews that look Asiatic or Nordic, or more often very mixed race). So many of today's Jews are not really "Semites" and therefore not really Jews.
