Just recently I stumbled across this weird quote from transgender actress and advocate Laverne Cox (from Orange is the New Black). She states: "When a trans woman is called a man, that is an act of violence".

I laughed when I heard this quote. How is it violent? Rude, sure. Transphobic, sure. But violent? LOL. Apparently now according to PC values, merely disagreeing with someone or being rude to them is now an "act of violence".

I have noticed that trans women are more likely to get irate when misgendered than trans men are. Words are not violence and to say so trivializes physical violence. "Incitement to violence" is a legal standard and misgendering someone simply doesn't qualify. Stop the hyperbole!

Anyway... This is the same Laverne Cox who hosts a show called TRANSform Me, wherein trans women give makeovers to cis women and teach them how to be properly feminine. Messed up. On one episode, Cox bullied a woman into dressing and presenting in a way that she felt uncomfortable with, pressuring the woman until she burst into tears. So yeah, Cox is a cock.
