I cannot seem to find any media players that can play the usual files such as mp4 and avi. VLC seems to only be for streaming content directly from your PC. I have no idea how to get it to play content on my device.

I'm using a tablet, but I already found a free player that seems to work fine. It's called MX Player.
I just watched Frozen which leads me to the question as to why a lot of fairy tales seem to be inspired from or originate from German and Norse culture.

Because they were first collected together into books by the Grimm brothers, who were German.
