Hit up your parents for cash if possible, dumpster dive (try pizza joints, you can also just wait until a restaurant is about to close and just straight up ask them if they have any food they're about to throw out because you're broke and hungry (surprisingly effective), spange if you're willing to, craigslist some shit you can, try doing some stuff for btc, there's also places to beg online (random acts of pizza, btc beg, etc). The btc stuff is cool because you can protect your identity and still use it to order pizza, and yes pizza is the lifesource, the mana that fell from Heaven in the bible.

I'm bumming a lot of food from my roommate and a few friends. I'll ask my dad for cash if I legitimately run out of everything, but it's no big deal at the moment. Or when I run out of coffee. Need that coffee. It's really not bad, just hate bumming cash.

Just out of curiosity did the dizziness and nausea start after you began taking the fluoxetine? Because that could be the culprit. If not, it might be time to go see the doctor (it couldn't hurt to ask your gp or w/e for something for your nerves either).

Have you ever tried tramadol? It can help some people w/ chronic/severe depression. Although you may need a pain complaint to get it from a gp (a psych might be a little more willing to give it a go), but pain and depression tend to go together. I know more drugs isn't always the solution but finding what works for you can take a little trial and error. I had the best results w/ clonazepam, citalopram (although I eventually discontinued it), and tramadol.

Yeah, I went to a nurse about it and they said fluoxetine shouldn't cause that and I'm sick. I've got a doctor's appointment tomorrow to up the prozac dose and ask for some sorta anxiety stuff. This doctor doesn't really have much mental health experience though, which is interesting and somewhat unfortunate.

Oh. I talked to shrink and they didn't really say anything. Want to go ahead with that stuff?

They are both possible side effects of the fluoxetine but people react differently, usually people with these kind of complaints just ate some bad chinese food or something and blame it on the drug because WongDongs #1 Chinese Buffet hasn't made them sick in the past or w/e but when it's persistent like this, it could very well be the drug. If it doesn't clear up, definitely talk to your pharmacist and your psych. Also, are you taking it with food or anything? If it's the drug, sometimes that'll help.

That's lame, I was hoping they might be able to at least offer you some resources.

I'm game to go ahead with it if you're comfortable with that.

When you can, try taking it with a little toast, crackers, or some milk. It's worth a shot even if you have to force yourself to eat some. Did you ever try cannabis for the nausea? Definitely try just eating with the meds first though so you can rule it out if nothing else.

probably....I used to live right next to U of TN's campus though....back in my twenties....and there were a few bars where scoring weed acid coke or weed was damn near as easy as ordering a beer.....it is still kind of like that there now....but there is a different vibe....I suppose the vibe is just me though cause I am forty something and don't fit into the student crowd like I used to..
