There's so much ice here, I thought it had snowed at first. All the major roads out of here are closed because Floridians can't drive on icy roads apparently.

The power company said it wouldn't be back up until around 5-6pm in a recorded announcement on their automatedfggtryphonesystem but it came back on a few hours after I posted the thread. I did some exploratory adventuring to discover everything was covered in ice and the major highways were shut down. Scored some caffeinated goods and headed back while only hydroplaning once. Other than UPS being ridiculously late, not being able to head back to civilization, and not having a decent escape route, not much changed. Apparently this wasn't the global warming apocalypse Al Gore promised.
As for the cannibalism bit, I had only just started shaving one of the cats when the power came back on. So for now, 0. Although I'm hoping for more inclement weather as I realized my neighbors would be fair game and that I could start a roving band of cannibal marauders if things start looking bleak again.

I've contacted his agent but have received no response at this point in time. Hopefully he'll see what an opportunity this would be for him and get on board with it.
In a search for a weather control device I've also contacted some foreign dignitaries in Russia, China, and North Korea. However for whatever reason I have received no responses there either. :[

In homage to the eyeborg I lost the patch in favor of a false eye with a camcorder. The quality isn't great but it makes recording amateur porn ridiculously easy. Although you can't blink a whole lot or you'll upset your users... so sometimes the false eye feels like it gets dry and makes the socket all itchy and irritated. C'est la vie. Really it's a small trade off for the residual profit I make after uploading a handful of vids. It's also turned me into something of a gonzo journalist. I haven't added audio yet but I'm considering sacrificing one of my ears in exchange for a microphone.
