The prozac's helped a little but nowhere near enough. I'm still finding it very difficult to function.

shrinks are not all knowing...do not be discouraged because they do no provide instant results....they do therapy...it's a process.....a journey..

Frustrating and overly long. I'm pretty much done.
+Anonymous D — 12.6 years ago, 15 minutes later, 2 hours after the original post[T] [B] #370,814
Try not to get too discouraged. You can always see someone else if need be. Although you have to remember the extent of the therapist's role too.

I'd rather off myself tbh. No biggy.

Word. Well at least make it interesting. See the art of suicide for possible sources of inspiration. Avoid rubbish like the peaceful pill handbook, that nonsense is for pussies.

why not an od of morphine.....there would be enormous pleasure....then you pass out and expire.....vs the ricin where you have pain? I do not get your way of thinking..
·Anonymous D — 12.6 years ago, 14 seconds later, 2 hours after the original post[T] [B] #370,832
@370,828 (Triptych !IupsXZPnnU)
If you're aiming for cheap there's always suicide by cop, railways, traffic, tall buildings or bridges, giving your muffler a blow job, etc.
·Triptych !IupsXZPnnU (OP) — 12.6 years ago, 1 minute later, 3 hours after the original post[T] [B] #370,835
@370,831 (C)
I can't get morphine.
@previous (D)
None of those exist around here.
·Anonymous D — 12.6 years ago, 2 minutes later, 3 hours after the original post[T] [B] #370,838
@previous (Triptych !IupsXZPnnU)
Suicide by cop then. Strap some clay blocks to your chest, tape them together, put some random wires and a digital alarm clock (remove the shell so it's just the lcd and the internal bits) on them. Go to the busiest area you can think of and start shouting stuff about Allah. Oh and the detonator can be a pen or something.
·Triptych !IupsXZPnnU (OP) — 12.6 years ago, 38 seconds later, 3 hours after the original post[T] [B] #370,839
@previous (D)
There aren't any busy areas. Seriously, there's nothing.

@370,838 (D)
Oh and if you have some time and decent credit maybe you could try and recreate the killdozer and go out that way.

Well you could always travel to a larger city.

maybe you are depressed because your current situation is not all that great....but if you can go to a uni...it might be in a large happening town where you will have tons to do and meet all kinds of rad people....and that would be a whole lot better....right?
·Triptych !IupsXZPnnU (OP) — 12.6 years ago, 2 minutes later, 3 hours after the original post[T] [B] #370,888

I was depressed whilst living in a city as well. There's no point, it's fine.

but you were even younger than you are now....once you start making money and get a car....and have your own place that is not subject to interference by your parents or school people....and get to make all your own decisions....you will be a different person...

I was in London over Christmas and summer, and just as depressed.

but you only had what you are doing now to look forward to....you just are not getting this..
ask for that xanax when you see the Doc......I remember when I was around seventeen before I ever got out and did my own thing.....I had a few times when I felt like life just sucked and it wasn't over anything real big it was just I was depressed and shit and I did not care to be around anymore....but once I was own my own and able to do what I wanted to do I really started enjoying life.....I have not always been an addict..
anyways.....you need to just hang in there and know that a shitton of people all over the world feel like you do....and then they get through it somehow and have a good life......I'm going to bed...laters..

I thought you'd be in better spirits with the recent good news you had tbh. No bs though the antidepressants don't work overnight and it'll take some trial and error to find what is going to work for you.
A lot of people experience a sort of existential crisis when they're coming of age or around the early 20s where it all seems bleak and so on but it's just part of a transitory phase and discovering what you want to do and who you want to be. I don't know what you're going through but leave suicide to the idiots, you have a lot to offer the world and a lot more to experience.
·Anonymous C — 12.6 years ago, 6 minutes later, 4 hours after the original post[T] [B] #370,911
just one more thought....I have known a few people on so called anti deppressants......and that shit sucked all the fire right out of them....I agree with the opinion of whoevver said it here already in some other thread...those things are garbage..
