It's something I want to get into yet I just hate it so much. I think maybe a part of it makes me feel like I'm doing nothing with my life besides sit there doing nothing. This feeling is had for whenever I watch a show or movie yet oddly enough not video games. I've been told I should probably be a writer yet how can this be when I hate reading especially proof-reading which is really the only reading I do. I wish we had the technolonogy to directly beam books into our heads. Plus my nervious reading habits are hard to break and doesn't help me retain information.
I also feel depressed that Hollywood is all about money and not art as they always have the perfect oppotunity to bring stories from books to life yet always miss the mark even if it's just a tiny bit. I understand if you cannot fully turn a book into a movie, but do you really need to make complete changes (unless there is a good reason for it). I wish I could get into reading.
