I heard that if you have both a Netflix and Hulu Plus subscription that you do not really want cable anymore, but is this really the case? Are both services really a good substitute for cable or satellite TV?

Especially when you add additional services like HBO Go or WWE Network?

idk about hulu plus. my sister will use it whenever they have a free month promotion or something but from what I hear it pretty much limited to like 6 episodes of currently airing public television shows and then the rest is mostly bs reality shit.

Netflix is great, as long as as you aren't trying to watch Mythbusters in chronological order. There's the entire Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock, and plenty of other stuff.

Netflix has a content recommendation system based on what you've already viewed. If OP is willing to pay for the convenience of instant steaming over torrenting, Netflix is a good option.
