+Hello !KiTtY4Diw. — 12.6 years ago #31,774
Any songs that are pretty simple that you'd be interested in hearing me shittily muddle through playing?
+Morbid !vbsvhaneDY — 12.6 years ago, 2 hours later[T] [B] #365,666
@OP
It's a known fact that you can't learn guitar after the age of 12.

Segovia's adaptation of BWV1007 (cello suite no. 1, prelude).

This is a good place to start if you're a total beginner. You should be able to play this after a few hours. If you can't, it means you have no natural talent for the instrument.

Enjoy working at the petro station your entire life. I'm taking my Harmony, Crate amp, and grunge pedal to stardom. I am going to be the next great musician like Chris Cornell from rage.

Really, learn any song that you really like and go for it, keeps you playing.
But for me play me blister in the sun by the angry femmes and I'll record my singing to it.

This? I'll look into getting a classical guitar, I enjoy finger picking so this will be an excelent way to hone some skills!
@365,836 (F)
assuming all of those are better suited for when my shredding ability becomes sub par, at best, so skipping them till my talent reaches that low.
@365,853 (Motherfuckin' !xHGARYoak6)
That would be awesome! I'll print out the chords and practice, my transitions leave a lot to be desired, but I'm working on it.
Ive gotten the shells of "Pigs on the wing, one and two" "Mother" "Dark Globe" and "brain damage" worked out, just working on the timing of my strums and getting the chord changes down.
@365,891 (H)
I'll try and find something suited to my skill, thanks!

Really? Its not a very hard song to learn, it was the first thing I learnt when I picked up my guitar. I can wait till you get it down a bit more till you can do it, but if you dont wanna wait I can dig half speed, I'll just sound weird lol.

Well I can finger pick it decently well, but i'm a clumsy fool so I can't seem to get the chord changes down very well

All in due time my friend, muscle memory takes time to develop, you'll get there.
Practice all the time! I used to just sit and watch tv with my guitar just doing different chords while watching to get used to the feeling.

Cool retarded drunkpost, Bert. You wouldn't know talent if it slapped you in the face, but this is hardly surprising given your fondness of AC/DC and the fact that you are too stupid to understand that Les Claypool is known for playing bass, not electric guitar so the joke went completely over your ethanol-soaked brain.
