So after much pressure to explain why he has pictures of animated little girls saved to his computer, The Doctor says he uploads what is (by his own definition) child porn to the internet because it upsets people who are against pedophilia. He says he enjoys irritating people who disagree with sex with children.

My question is: would this explanation hold up in court? And if so, why do all pedophiles not use this defense?

It would not hold up in court, and in fact a prosecutor in Hoxton is charging him with possession of child pornography for which he has a strong case against this "doctor" character. The Doctor is clearly a middle-aged nonce with no future. As an attorney at law, I can confirm this.
