Girls, stop saying you "don't need feminism"... you've got it all wrong. Feminism is not a comfort blanket & you don't look independent when you reject it. Feminism is a platform for equality for women and all people. It comes in many forms and while some have become wickedly skewed, many forms are accurate; there is not only one correct view. Men, women & everything in between can be feminists. It is not the misandry of men, it is not the excessive praise of women, it is equality of genders. It is working towards loving and respecting one another for who we are as people, not whether or not we have a penis, vagina, or combination of the two.
So please, girls, and everyone else, do not reject feminism. It is a marvelous work in progress, erasing stigmas and double standards by replacing them with love, respect, and appreciation for human kind.
