I heard from some tech geeks that their recent attempts (IE9 and IE8) were better than the previous ones, but they still were frustrating to use.

Could Microsoft ever make a browser that is better than it's competitors (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, and Opera)?

No, as Opera has native support for APNG and chrome requires an extension which still doesn't allow you to view local APNG images.

It's called MJPEG, and it's natively supported by any operating system which can read an avi or mov container. The browser has nothing to do with it, troll.
