Ugh.
She has baby fever as it is. I think it could be fun but realistically I want to put it off a bit longer. I'm not sure where kids are supposed to fit into this whole life thing but we've decided to wait for a little while. I don't think I would want to have kids until I'm 30 tbh. We've talked about it and she's much more keen on the idea than I am... but I think that's normal'ish. It seems like everyone else is having kids that she can play with in the meantime though.

I'm not sure when you actually start feeling like an adult or enough of one anyway... my best guess is around 30ish though. Maybe it's after your first mortgage loan but before you start drawing social security?
I know having kids isn't the end of the world and plenty of our friends are surviving through it but it's still terrifying in some ways.

yeah... well it definitely is the end or a reform to your social world. i can't decide if i'm too selfish to have kids or if what they say is true about how you wont know what love is until you have a child.... part of me doesnt want to chance it but WE'LL SEE I GUESS

Yeah I feel the same way. Plus I suspect everyone else with kids is secretly miserable and just says all that stuff to get you into the kid trap so they have another couple to call when they can't go out because they couldn't find a babysitter in time.
