The man convicted of raping and impregnating a comatose woman in an area nursing home back in the mid-90s was released from prison Monday.
The New York Department of Corrections confirmed John Horace was released. He's a former Rochester nursing home worker convicted of sexual abuse and rape in 1996.
The victim, a patient at the nursing home, had been in a coma for a decade after a car crash. She gave birth to Horace's child and then died a year later.
At his parole hearings, Horace said he impregnated the woman to help bring her out of the coma.
The child is being raised by the woman's parents and is now a teenager.
John Parrinello represents the victim's family. He says Horace never accepted responsibility for what he did.
"His explanation of what he did doesn't make sense and there's no emotionalism regarding his apology, if that's what it was," Parrinello said. "I hope that if he is on the streets, if he is on parole and on the street and moves somewhere, that he respects the fact that this family wants anonymity. They don't want anything to do with him. They don't want to see him or hear from him. Of course, as I said, that depends on what the young man thinks too."
Horace has been serving a 25-year prison sentence and became eligible for parole in 2004. He will be on parole until July of 2021

do you understand that? random.....so...while I did find out that they do (for some weird fucked up reason) disallow dui convicts from entering.........they only have time to check one of three...or one of five....or one of two..

and what kind of retarded regulation is that anyways? I saw somwhere that the Us also has similar guidelines.....how stupid..

Perhaps Canada doesn't want people who irresponsibly impair their judgement and coordination and choose to drive whilst thus impaired, putting others unnecessarily at risk. I find that to be perfectly reasonable.
