I never realized that modding was a career. I laughed when the autism question was refused even though the kid meant no disrespect judging from his tone. I liked how someone asked how much money Notch makes. In the end, I do not see why I should care about these people's personal lives or the reason why they play a game.

sports fanatics imo are kind of like guys who watch the Rocky films and then leave the theatre pumped up and ready to rumble......whilst minecraft players will go ask mama for some snacks...idk..

I wasn't talking about Minecraft nerds in particular. I was mainly speaking of the stereotypical perception of a nerd and a stereotypical perception of a sports fan. Both of which seem very similar yet at the same time different while some may even intertwine.

• Both engage in activities that have no importance on the world around them. Fantasy Football versus Comic Books/Video Games.
• Nerds dress up as their favorite characters from works of media then gather at conventions while sports fans dress up in jerseys and face paint at sporting events.

The differences being that sports fans probably spend too much time at the gym while nerds barely leave their basement. This most likely doesn't apply for the fat sports fans though.
