could use a little contrast
contrast is a huge pain to do though, you gotta guess how high to turn the red filter, make a test strip on which yo ucan't really see enough to judge, and then make a print.

i've no idea, but the house printer at least is a huge bitch. they're rigged up specially so that they send all scans to your email address, so it's a bit of a pain typing that in, too. really it's just the quality isn't much better for the effort it takes.

nah, just put the stuff in the tray and open gimp. go to file > acquire > scanner/camera, select the device (usually there's only one) say ok for any additional import settings and wait for the image to be dumped on screen. crop/rotate as necessary and then save.
