I felt exactly the same way a few short years ago.
There was a time when I felt like I just wanted to fall flat on my face in the mud, and just give up on life.
Everything felt bad: my body was 40 pounds heavier than I wanted, my mind was filled with a constant filthy stream of "I'm just a loser. I can't make it. I'm not good at anything. I don't like what I have to do to stay alive."
You wouldn't believe the kinds of lies I believed-and nurtured in my own mind-about myself. I literally thought I was the worst person alive, that my life had no value, that I was a burden to myself and everyone I knew.
Of course, no one else knew I was thinking that way. I kept it all wrapped up in a pretty package, and put on a delightful-if easy to see through-show for everyone.
My body was tense and sore, and I think I had stopped paying attention to it years earlier---who knows when?
Again, no one around me knew that I was suffering at all: mostly because all of them were suffering in the same ways. Of course, some of these people were quite successful, in a conventional sense, but I can see that what they were doing with their lives didn't really seem to make them happy.
It took me a lot of years to move through those crippling thoughts and tensions, but now that I have, I can tell you that it's a lot easier than you might think. If you still find yourself suffering on a daily basis, there are very specific things you can do to overcome it.
Some of those are the exercises in the Art of Not Giving a Fuck and the Command Z courses. The whole point of CZ and Art of NGF is to destroy your perceived limitations by relaxing your tensions and grounding your mind back into your body. From there, you become ever more aware of what's really going on, and you can move your life in whatever direction your authentic curiosity, inspiration, and joy take you.
In that spirit, I offer you a link for the ¿meditation? workshop for Monday at 5pm. Live access is $37. You get a video link and PDF after the workshop, and you can watch again anytime you want. Click here to get your ticket, and I'll email you the link tomorrow before the show starts.
I'm calling it ¿meditation? because it's not going to be what you expect, but you'll be surprised at how obvious and powerful this technique is, and even more enraged and surprised at how many people sell bullshit and call it meditation, when all it does is confuse and discourage you. Ready to finally get deep with yourself?
Also, big news tomorrow for you from the Art of NGF. You'll be able to get all the workshops people have loved so far, plus something special for this tryptophan holiday coming up.
Talk to you tomorrow,
-Garrett

@344,973 (walruse )
Albert Elbaz, a world-famous fashion designer, said, "I don't go out to parties because I'd look terrible in pictures. My escape is television - it's like meditation to me."
It's fascinating that someone who made his name creating luxurious fashions for famous people is still concerned about looking terrible in pictures. Instead, he watches TV.
Maybe it's not so surprising, though. In order to do high-level fashion design, Elbaz has developed a hyper-sensitivity to what people find attractive...and unattractive. Apparently he thinks people will find him unattractive. Or at least he thought so when he said that. Or maybe he was making a joke while people were taking pictures of him. Who knows? Does it matter?
Now that's interesting. Do you see how easy it is to assume all kinds of things about Mr. Elbaz, when we haven't even heard him speak or met him in person?
How many other things in life do we go on assuming, even when they might not have any basis in fact or in our direct observation?
Another interesting part of the Elbaz quote, regardless of whether you like how he looks or not, is that I can relate to the TV part of it.
One of the most brilliant discoveries of my life came from letting myself relax and watch 4 episodes of one of my favorite shows. Maybe there's a reason we feel compelled and drawn to certain things...even TV shows.
That's the interesting thing that starts to happen when you regularly practice "The News," you'll start opening up to what your urges and desires are really trying to tell you. From there, it's easy to get what you want, and to flow with your own life.
You can finally start to listen to yourself, and be on your own side, instead of choking down endless "shoulds" from everyone who wants to run your life.
The News, by the way, is the powerful awareness technique you'll get to practice during the workshop on Monday. It'll help you cut through your mental chatter, get in touch with what's actually going on around you and within you, and stop you from reacting to situations out of fear.
From there, what you do with your new, clear awareness is up to you.
Click here to get in on it. If you've ever felt frustrated by trying to meditate, and not getting the results you want. This workshop is the one for you.
Oh, and be sure to reply to this email, and let me know about your own meditation experiences: the good, bad, and the ugly. And I'll make sure to answer all your questions during the show.
Enjoy,
-Garrett

There are many of those quotes that keeps the surgeon inspired about his job, they also help him jump these large obstacles in life. Fortunately, the quotes have been released to the public to help inspire fellow surgeons.
At 10, I was intrigued by surgery, I wanted to be surgeon for a long time. I love doctor shows and surgery shows. Blood is not an issue for me. I even took pictures once of me getting my blood taken.
Dr Babanga, my local doctor, recommended that I should perhaps try superflex before and after breakfast.
Humanity abhors, above all things, a vacuum in itself, and your class will be cut off from humanity as the ?surgeon slowly cuts the cancer and alien growth from the body.
Fantastic, the ?surgeon is ?inspired
