physics test
so:
for the deflection in a cathode ray tube:
first find v in the first plates (QV = 1/2 mv^2)
second find t between second plates (t = d/v)
third find E in second plates (E = V/d)
fourth find Fe on e- in second plates (Fe = ma = QE)
fifth d = 1/2at^2
formulas
E = Fe/Q = kQ/r = V/d
Fe = QE = kQ1Q2/r^2
Ep = QEd = QV = kQ1Q2/r
V = Ed = Ep/Q = kQ/r
should be all

this happened to me when i moved to Austin. The water down there is super hard and the change from soft water (i think) made me itchy for a few showers.
either that or the lake turned.
in autumn and spring the water in lakes circulates and can bring up a bunch of shit from the bottom which can introduce allergens into the water. supposedly.
i'm not sure i believe that since water is all treated. anyway, it goes away.

·Anonymous M — 12.8 years ago, 13 minutes later, 10 hours after the original post[T] [B] #342,646
@previous (Triptych !IupsXZPnnU)
I am not Hindu..
Ganesha is a hindu god and widely worshiped across india.
Ganesha was born with a human head and body. Legend has it that Parvati ( mother of ganesha), created a beautiful boy from the dirt of her body, treated him as her son, and gave him the responsibility of guarding her home. Shiva, upon returning home was affronted by this lad, hitherto unknown to him. The lad, true to his word to his mother, refused to let Shiva into his own home and that Shiva beheaded him. which resulted in parvati's grief and anger so quick fix was sought, and it was decided that the first available head would be used to bring the boy to life. Accordingly, the boy was fitted with the head of an elephant and brought back to life.
This is something happened thousands of years ago now let us see what his devotees are doing in recent times.
The "Hindu milk miracle" was a phenomenon as a miracle, which occurred on September 21, 1995.worshipper at a temple in south New Delhi made an offering of milk to a statue of Ganesha. When a spoonful of milk from the bowl was held up to the trunk of the statue, the liquid was seen to disappear, apparently taken in by the idol. Word of the event spread quickly, and by mid-morning it was found that statues of the entire Hindu pantheon in temples all over North India were taking in milk.
By noon the news had spread beyond India, and Hindu temples in Britain, Canada, Dubai, and Nepal among other countries had successfully replicated the phenomenon, and an Indian Hindu organisation had announced that a miracle was occurring. Seeking to explain the phenomenon, scientists from India's Ministry of Science and Technology travelled to a temple in New Delhi and made an offering of milk containing a food colouring. As the level of liquid in the spoon dropped, the scientists hypothesized that after the milk disappeared from the spoon, it coated the statue beneath where the spoon was placed.
RIVER GANGES :
The Ganges is the most sacred river to Hindus and is also a lifeline to millions of Indians.
And see what her devotees are doing to the mother river.
Descent of the Ganges is from heaven to earth so she is also the vehicle of ascent, from earth to heaven. Hindus consider the waters of the Ganges to be both pure and purifying hence when you take a dip in the river all your sins will be purified ( Ha...Ha...Ha...) and you will be eligible for heaven so an estimated 2,000,000 people ritually bathe daily ( Wow !!!! ) in the river and also washes their clothes ( Govt. sources for washing clothes are inadequate). People travel long distances to immerse the ashes of their loved ones in the waters of the Ganges( Hygenic ????), bringing their spirits closer to "Nirvana" (even prime ministers ahses) !!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you're going to simplify I'd leave out acids producing hydroxides altogether. A strong acid gives off hydrogen ions more easily than a weak acid, and dilution is important.

if it's not water hardness it's probably temperature. do you like to take particularly hot or long showers? if it's not that then it could still be the soap.
maybe try taking slightly cooler showers, and after you're finished spend an extra minute or so just rinsing everything off and stand in the water.
also it could be your towels. do you use fabric softener with your towels, or a heavy detergent? after showering you may be wiping yourself down with soap residue left in the heavy towel.
i would try a process of elimination. first, shower with no soap or shampoo. just water the way you normally do. do your routine as normal. see if you itch.
if not, voila. change to a gentler soap.
if you do still itch, next shower change the water temp and do what you normally do. if you still itch after a cold shower, try the towel.
try washing a towel in just hot water and dry it with no fabric sheets. maybe when you do towels you'll want to either run them through two was cycles or maybe use a gentler detergent.
i think it's probably you taking long, hot showers that makes you itch though. do you do that?
oh, do you use a loofa (sp?) or a scrub cloth? you may be exfoliating too much. that plus hot water can make you itch pretty well

No, 5-ish minutes, just long enough to soap and rinse. Temperature varies. It's been years, I've tried all of that, and I've been moving lots over the past few years so everything (water hardness, soap, shampoo, towels, laundry detergent, with/without scrubby things) have changed. Thanks for the advice though! It is appreciated.

from wiki:
One of his popular forms, Heramba-Ganapati, has five elephant heads, and other less-common variations in the number of heads are known.[42] While some texts say that Ganesha was born with an elephant head, he acquires the head later in most stories .[43] The most recurrent motif in these stories is that Ganesha was created by Parvati using clay to protect her and Shiva beheaded him when Ganesha came between Shiva and Parvati. Shiva then replaced Ganesha's original head with that of an elephant.[44] Details of the battle and where the replacement head came from vary from source to source.[45][46] Another story says that Ganesha was created directly by Shiva's laughter. Because Shiva considered Ganesha too alluring, he gave him the head of an elephant and a protruding belly.[47]
