Unfortunately, what began as a bit of light-hearted fun took a slight turn for the worse yesterday, when !NoGoD1GamE, for genuinely mysterious reasons, completely lost it and started making dozens of threads screaming at everyone to boycott the polls, to spam them, to rig them, and so on. Nobody is quite sure what the connection is between him and The Doctor, or why he suddenly exploded like that. Time will perhaps reveal all.
What is known is that at one point the Doc was 'winning' his semi 35-8 after a sensible number of visits, and then within half an hour it was 35-37. Miller was demolishing Autphag, and that too was suddenly spammed. This all happened while !NoGoD1GamE was having his odd little moment. He has since been trying to convince people that it was this single homogeneous 'madaboutdoc' guy who spammed them...which makes no sense, given Doc was 'winning' by a mile before the spamming began. !NoGoD1GamE does not always think things through.
Anyway, after chewing it over with users and mods, the spammed poll votes by 'unique' voters have been discounted, giving us a final of Doc v Matt. There are 2 reasons for doing this: 1) to ensure the final which people actually voted for, and 2) to make the already volatile rage of !NoGoD1GamE spill over into an actual aneurysm.
So here it is - the final of the TC Wars Fagathon. Voting is now open, and closes 48 hours hence, at around 19:00 GMT on Sunday.
