Dats Bethany Hamilton. On occasion she comes out of her Kauai digs to Solana beach just 4 minutes south of me for a celebration thing.
And recently multiple mean big sharks have been spotted just South n North of me.

That they do. I once just once and only to be able to say this - 25 minutes north of me in San Onofre next to the Nuke n now turned off power plant - a Great White shark and her baby were hanging out.
Just a super Surf spot but logistically 2far away from my Sun Work stations - anyway I drove up but not with surf board- Put on my wet suite and went in for a S L O W swim so as to not spook the Sharks.
Swam out and then tried to swim S L O W back back but I was spooked a bit and swam F A S T E R ... Did not look back and can say I swam with the Great Whites just once on purpose nor will I ever never do that again.
I wood put up a pic but Anon A is most purrrrrfect
