Who said I own an island? Island I have a chunk of which is a small chunk - Outsiders cannot even buy property on the coast. 99 Year lease, so I R screwed if all of a sudden they find a way to get me to live to biblical like numbers.

If I said such that must have been in a rush 4sure free climbing & one of the dangers is the endorphin + adrenalin rush. I never once went free climbing for the High which wood be just real dumb.
Kinda like why so many downhill skiers do stupid stuff and have accidents towards the end of the day on the hill. Two face plants for me as result.

I have friends who bought in2 Cabo San Lucas and several dance friends who bought in2 San Felipe. Not once have I thought about buying there. Friends however are happy but the thing is its just to much driving tyme and flying in is more better with a friend who owns a small plane.
Nor wood I have bought in2 Mindora but a best buddy got talked in2 it by Jacque Cousteau & then I got talked in2 it. I needed a getaway place but and you need to look at a map. Its so close to the mainland.
However the logistics suck because I lose a full day from Manila to my spot on Island. Also going there as a single dude is not so good. Fathers bring over the daughter so as to marry her off. One visit a day is kinda mandatory. And I like to cook but one has to employee a number of people to cook clean etc even if you do not want to. Its the culture. Americans claim its a great place to retire too re very cheep.
But there is NADA 2do - I mean sure if as Jacque wanted to dive everyday - and back when he was still alive he did very little of that and I mean free diving because his body re bends made even 12 feet down a pain for him.
Place is world class beautiful but just to limited with again nada to do. Great food + World class Fish and people still pan for Gold and find some - But such can be done in my own hood. (50 min drive away)

Dang back when I had a condo on the waterfront in Marina del Rey (near Santa Monica Ca) - That guy was living on a sail boat in my hood. Never met him. So years later, I as many watched those Dos Equis commercials.
